At the climax of the Jesus saves crusade at the Athletic Oval and we were blessed with the presence of the chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye.
Apostle Eric Nyamekye speaking to the congregation spoke on the topic – The Oasis of Salvation. He took the scriptures from Proverbs 18:10,Ecclesiastes 3:11, Romans 5:12.
He emphasised on Eternity which can only be found in the Lord Jesus Christ. He added that, Jesus is God’s salvation for humanity and the only way to salvation is to accept Jesus as our Lord and personal savior.
He stated emphatically that, Jesus Christ is not just a founder of Christianity as other religious leaders but rather, He is the salvation of the Lord.
The Lord, The Holy Spirit, Jehovah, or Yahweh is not the strong tower, but His name is the strong tower in which the righteous when run into it is saved. And this name is Jesus Christ, Apostle Nyamekye stated.
“If this generation have seen the outbreak of COVID-19, then this generation must also see the outbreak of revival,” Apostle Nyamekye stressed.
In conclusion, Apostle Nyamekye encouraged the student body to let righteousness be seen in their conduct not only in the church building but even much more outside the church auditorium.
In attendance were Pastor Ebenezer Hagan (Youth Director), Pastor Kwadwo Obeng (PENSA Travelling Secretary, Greater Accra) Dr. Antwi Boasiako (Chaplain Board Chairman- University of Ghana) and many dignitaries of the church that blessed us with their presence.
