The Youth Ministry of the Church of Pentecost in Berekum Area under the auspices of the Area Head, Apostle A. K. Miah has donated two (2) sewing machines and a hair drier at the cost of Ghc 1000.00 to three young needy ladies who desire to enter the vocation of Dressmaking and hair dressing. This took place today 20th March, 2018 at the Berekum Area Ministers and Wives Pre-Easter Convention prayers at Berekum NyameNnae Church Auditorium of The Church of Pentecost.
This has been an initiative by the Area Youth Ministry led by Pastor Nelson Agbove who is the Area youth Pastor and doubles as the Resident Minister for the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) – Berekum.
According to Pastor Agbove, as they aim at winning souls and establishing them in the Lord, it is their pleasure to spread their tentacles to supporting those who desire to enter a trade without the required resources.
This charitable activity is not only to the members of the Church, but also members of other denominations and even non-Christians.
It is their hope that they be able to continue this good work to support many more who are in need.
Apostle Miah commended the youth Ministry for this concept and hoped the items would be used by the beneficiaries for their maximum benefit.
The beneficiaries of the expressed their heart felt gratitude to the Area Head and the youth ministry for their memorable support.
All ministers and wives present were touched by the compassion the youth demonstrated towards the needy.
