Mrs. Gifty Dansoah Appiah

Mrs Gifty Dansoah Appiah is an experienced development practitioner and a planner. She has immense knowledge and experience in social intervention programming and general Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) programming activities.

She has built an enviable career in the NGO space. She worked with World Vision International for 17 years. At World Vision, Gifty rose through the ranks from Programme Manager to become the Interim National Director. Gifty also served as the Country Manager for Christian Aid, Ghana in 2017.

Presently, she is the National Director for Compassion International, Ghana. Gifty holds a B.SC degree in Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Master of Science degree in Transportation Planning and Policy from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

Gifty is an unapologetic Christian and a child and youth advocate. She serves on the National Executive Committee of the Youth Ministry of the Church of Pentecost. She is a family woman who lives with her husband, Samuel Otu Appiah in Accra, Ghana. She is blessed with four children.
