Pastor Gordon Ansah was called into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 2014. After his one-year ministerial training at the then Pentecost Theological Seminary (now School of Theology, Mission and Leadership of Pentecost University), he was posted to Mfensi as District Minister in the Abuakwa Area of Ashanti Region from 2015 – 2019. In 2019, he was appointed PENSA Travelling Secretary and transferred to the Upper West Sector.

Pastor Gordon Ansah was appointed Member of the National Executive Committee of the Youth Ministry in October 2022 and was subsequently elected as National Secretary of the Ministry in the same month.

He holds a Master of Arts degree in Theology and Mission from Akrofi-Christaller Institute where he specialized in Holistic Mission and Development. Also, he is pursuing a Master’s in Organizational Leadership at the California Baptist University in the USA. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Ghana, Legon. He trained as a professional teacher at the Presbyterian Training College, Akropong – Akuapem where he was awarded Teacher’s Certificate A in the year 2006 from the University of Cape Coast. He attended Adonten Secondary School in Aburi and completed it in the year 2002.

Prior to his appointment and subsequent election as National Secretary of the Youth Ministry, Pastor Ansah was the National Coordinator of the Read Through the Bible in a Year initiative of the Youth Ministry since its inception in 2020. He also deputized as Media Pastor of the Ministry from 2020 to date. At Wa Area, he is the Area Media Pastor, the Chaplaincy Coordinator, and a member of the Area Ministerial Committee. While at Abuakwa Area, he was a member of the Area Statistics Committee, the Area Publications Officer, the Area Recorder, and the Secretary to the Pensions Committee.

Globally, Pastor Gordon Ansah is a member of the Young Leaders Generation (YLGen) of the Lausanne Movement. Additionally, he was part of the PENSA International Mission Team that established The Church of Pentecost in South Sudan. At the national level, he has been a Dangme Translator of literary materials of The Church of Pentecost in the National Discipleship and Leadership Committee since 2011.

Pastor Ansah is married to Mrs. Evelyn Ansah and together they have three children.

His interests are swimming, reading, and writing. His favorite quote is by Warren Buffett; “Look for three things in a person – intelligence, energy, and integrity. If they don’t have the last one, don’t even bother with the first two.”
