PUSH BACK THE PUSHBACKS- APS. ERIC NYAMEKYE(CHAIRMAN) CHARGES CHRISTIANS

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, has charged Christians that given the rise of pushbacks in a world controlled by sin, the devil and death, we have a duty “to be unleashed into such a kingdom to push back all those pushbacks which are being fuelled by the forces of hell”. He voiced, therefore, that Christians, especially the youth “would carry the revival fire beyond the borders of the church into the streets in order to bring deliverance to this dying world.”

The Chairman, also the immediate past Youth Patron of the Church, revealed this when speaking on the theme, “Spiritual Living in an Increasingly Secular World” at the climax service of the 2021 Revival & Unleashing Conference. He admonished Christians to stay spiritually strong in an increasingly secular world. “Daniel though a public figure in a corrupted world, remained faultless, excellent and victorious as a result of his deep spirituality”, he stated.

Apostle Nyamekye further beseeched Christians from John 3:17 that “just as Jesus was come into the world to save sinners, Christians too are called into the world, not to condemn sinners, but to avail themselves that through them sinners might be saved.”

He dedicated the latter part of his ministration to teaching, with Daniel as a case study, on how to live for Christ and survive in this crooked world. He enumerated these to include; Having a clear-cut resolution (Daniel 1:8); Being wise as a serpent and harmless as the dove in dealing with the world (Daniel 5:11-12); Remembering we are the test of the gospel and letters people read. (Daniel 1:13); Not conforming to the pattern of the world. (Daniel 6:1-3); Living modestly. (Daniel 5:16-17); Taking up your cross and following Him. (Daniel 6); and consistently staying the cause (Daniel 2:47-48; 4:34 6:25-28).

Apostle Eric Nyamekye concluded by hinting that “men of God are made in the closet, and one’s powerful public life is a reflection of their private time with God”. He, therefore, encouraged all participants to “be grounded in the closet to be unleashed into the market place”.
