The International Missions Director of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Gyesi-Addo has declared that the future of the Church is here now and as a result, the church, particularly, the youth, are to influence every sphere of society, business, economy, education and wherever they may find themselves.
This he said during the opening session of the 2021 PENSA Ghana Virtual Conference. Reflecting on the past glories of the church, he assured that the grace of the Lord shall continue to abound for the church and so despite great men and women of old fading away, the church shall continue to thrive gloriously.
Speaking to the theme, Grounded in Christ and Unleashed for Glorious Impact (Col 2:6-7; Ezekiel 37:3-4), Apostle Gyesi-Addo stated that being grounded in Christ goes deeper than just accepting Christ, in the sense that grounded people’s roots are deeper – they are people of unshakable faith, people who know whom they have believed, people who are rooted in God’s love and aims at becoming like Christ, and a people of nonconformity to the world.
Apostle Gyesi-Addo emphasized on the fact that there is a time to be grounded and a time to be unleashed, but added that “if you unleashed ungrounded people, you are heading for trouble”.
The curtain of the opening session was drawn to a close after a Holy Ghost fire-bathing prayer session by the Evangelism Director of the church, Apostle Dr Amos Jimmy Markin.
