The Church of Pentecost Youth Ministry

Ebenezer Hagan is the Youth Director of the Church of Pentecost and the Patron of PENSA International, the Church’s global campus ministry. He is married to Priscilla, and they are blessed with three wonderful girls. He has a Master of Theology (MTh) degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling (with specialization in Christian Education) from the Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon, and a Master’s degree (MA) in Pentecostal Studies with the Pentecost University College Graduate School. His eleven years of full-time ministry of the church has seen him serve as a district minister in Nyankpala in the Northern part of Ghana. Before his appointment as the Youth Director of the Church, he was directly involved in full-time campus work serving as the Traveling Secretary of the Greater Accra Sector.

Ebenezer Hagan belongs to the Association of Youth Ministry Educators (AYME) and is involved with the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry (IASYM), Converge (Evangelical Youth Ministry Resource Cooperative), and the Ghana Association of Pastoral Care and Counselling. He has conducted a lot of research in youth ministry-related fields which includes, “An Evaluation of the PENSA Campus Ministry of the Church of Pentecost, Case Study of University of Ghana and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.” and “Rooting African (Ghanaian) Youth Ministry in a Theology of Joy: A Journey Towards Contentment through the Promotion of Indigenous Expressions, the Case of ‘Poetship’ and Appellations in Ghana.” Others include “The Quandary of the Homeless in Accra,” and “Parental Alcoholism and Identity Crisis Among Young People in Africa.”

He loves to read, play long tennis and to watch Wildlife Documentary. He often says, “It takes the Holy Spirit…”
