The Grand Finale of the National Youth Quiz competition was glamorous to watch and learn as contestants portrayed various levels of intellect.  The long awaited 2019 quiz gracefully commenced on the 8th of November,2019 at the Pensions House, Gbawe.

Twenty (20) Areas participated in the Contest, ten for the Junior category and ten for the Senior category. The young men and women demonstrated their biblical recitation prowess as the Junior category recited the book of 1 Timothy in 12 minutes  and the Senior category recited the 1 & 2 Thessalonians in 15 minutes. The contestants showed much mastery that two areas scored the full marks for the recitation ; namely  Kaneshie and Bompata Area.

The quiz was grouped into levels filled with questions from the Bible, the 2019 Devotional Guide, Youth Syllabus, History and Current affairs of the CoP as well as the Bible Study and Home Cell Manual of the church.

The Senior category’s main questions were from Deuteronomy and Matthew whilst Genesis and 1 Corinthians were used for the Junior Category.  Per the rules of the Quiz  contestants who made it through the first level proceeded to the second level to fight for the trophy.

At the end of the competition, Achimota Area which represented the Accra East zone emerged winners for the Junior Category with 91 points while Abuakwa Area which represented the Kwadaso zone  was crowned  winners for the Senior Category with 96.19 points.

During the Junior category contest, Ho and Asante Bekwai had a tie for the 3rd position, but Ho Area strengthen muscles to put away Asante Bekwai and took  the 3rd position.
